That sounds great, but I don't change mowers but about every 12-13 years.

I use two different mowers and I wanted the cutting height to be the same on both, the finish mower uses spacers to adjust the height, this made it a breeze.

I had a JD, the deck was bad to warp, I could spring it back true and bump anything and boing back to warped.

Man, you guys are way too into it. I have a JD, a little bigger than that one, D130-140? I haven't done sh** to it for 7 yrs but change the oil and keep it somewhat clean. I changed a blade once after I bent one. No sharpening, no grease... runs good and cuts the grass fine. Got a bagger for it last year. That's a pita but makes for a nice looking lawn.

I got a JD L120, cuts just fine most times

......you change your oil?.....I just keep adding some to mine every other mow

My neighbor has an electric Dewalt 1/2" impact. That thing is strong. Glad you found the problem.
