Hello, I'm 32690taylor

Just joined this site. Bought my P1K EPS back in May. Really pleased with it so far. Load it right up with firewood or anything else or anything else and it doesn't struggle at all. Been doing some upgrades a little bit at a time. Had the roof and winch installed at the dealer. So far I've put on a LED light bar, LED reverse/work lights, amber hazard light on the roof, horn, HighLifter 2.5 inch signature lift kit, and the limited front bumper. Hoping to upgrade tires to 28 inch Roctanes on red 14 inch STI HD7 wheels. I also have a YouTube channel with some short videos about my Pioneer, if your interested just search : Big Kid Cruisin' or you can click <Big Kid Cruisin'>.

Here is a little info about me to begin with!
Honda SxS ownership : Yes, this is my first.
I have owned, or currently own the following: UTV, ATV, Motorcycle
My off-road experience level is: Intermediate
My favorite place to ride is: Around the farm

Welcome to the forum. Just a little heads up about your lift kit and tires selection, you will probably need to forward arched a arms to clear those 28 inch Roctane tires.

Yeah, I was originally going to try 30" tires, but I know they won't fit without the forward A-arms. Been taking some measurements and 28" tires would fit with no trouble since they're only a couple inches bigger than stock. Also considering a set of 1" - 1 1/2" wheel spacers.

I’ll ask some guys to chime in. The Roctanes are a lot more than one inch bigger than stock. Stock tires are actually 25.75-26” and the Roctanes are slightly more than 28 and wider. I can’t remember exactly but the guys that I will tag below had some rubbing using 28 inch Roctanes and the HL lift. It could be that it was rubbing the aftermarket skid plate but that’s still info you’d probably like to know. Just trying to help you out

I’ve got your answer on 28” Roctanes and STI wheels. First off Roctanes measure 28.25” at 13 psi and sti wheel are 5+2 offset. Secondly you will have to trim aftermarket skidplates if you have them. Third the tires will rub on the drivers side inner fender. I ran 28” Roctanes on Sti5s for a few months before I added Superatv forward A-arms. No rubbing with the a-arms. I am running 1” spacers on the front and 2” spacers on the rear to balance out the width on the change in wheels. To do it over again- start with the forward front a-arms. Check out my build and it describes all the different combinations I’ve tried. By the way these are for sale as I moved up to 30’s.
