first off i have a 2016 pioneer 1000
i have done a 1" spacer on the shocks that came out to about 1.5" lift.

so im looking at running 30"or 32" on my machine. I want to keep this relatively low cost. but at the same time I want my machine to work for me when I need it to.. so my questions are below. these questions are towards guys that have built something similar. I don't want any negative I've read experience. we all know what you should do and what you can get away with is a very different thing. this unit is my toy and work horse. I plan on running the large tires only for when we go to parks and mud pits. the 28's I have now will go back on for my daily use.

I was looking at the cfab 3" lift and 2" forward a arms for $1050 with the ball joints already installed for a one stop shop. and removing my shock spacers.

question 1 did your factory axle hold up well?
question 2 how much difference did you turn radius change? both because of tires size and wheel base change.
question 3 does the pioneer spin 30's or 32's pretty well ? for the most part ill only be using my 30's or 32's on mud trails and sand pits. I normally use low range any ways on these trails. ill throw my 28's back on when I'm doing cruises on easy trails and gentle play.
question 4 how does your center of gravity feel sitting on 30's or 32's and lifted vs no lift?
Question 5 can you send some more pictures of your rig!?
questions 6 wheel spacers!? if i run the same width tires all the way around ive read a 1" spacer in the rear only make the track right.. should i run 1" in the rear only or mayby 1" up front and 2" in the rear?
Question 7 mud guards.. i honestly love the look of the extended mud flaps on these units.. has any body fabbed there own or have measurements i could use? here is a picture of our last trip.. i want to be able to jump into the jeep holes thats why i need to run 30's or 32's

I would run the stock axles till they break and then get Rhino axles like I did.i did loose some turning radius but not bad. It spins them pretty well just make sure there light. I'm running 32s but there light and they really run 31in tall. It feels pretty stable I have a 2.5in lift and 1.5 wheel spacers in rear.

And here's some pics!

this is the combo im looking at running.. any imput on this would be great!

cfab lift arms.. 2" forward 3" up wide a arm bars. 860$
Achilles Desert Hawk X-MT 31/10.50R15 510$

Vision 393 Lock Out ATV Wheels - 15" Matte Black w/ Machined Lip 15x8 - 4/137 these have a 4+4 spacing. 423$

grand total of 1793 before uncle sams cut. and all free shipping. so estimated 2000$ for 31" tires on my unit.

so the thought is the tire at 10.5 wide split in the middle is a 5.25 in from wheel hub.. i shouldnt have any extra rub. if i do ill get the right amount of spacer.

the weight of the tires is un known at the moment. i have send out a few request to a few sites. hopfully they come back with under 40lbs per tire.

any advise or tips on this plan?

Thansk,
Scott

Update to the deals i have fought to get!!

Cfab arms go to extreme snorkel put in discount code save5off with the ball joints pressed. 1,007 to my door.
keep in mind prices are going up fast super atv just jacked there arms up to 415front and 451rear with no ball joints
amazon currently has the rear at the old price of 375

the rims! what a mess. I made 2 orders to finally find what I wanted was no longer available.. pure off road was great to deal with but ultimately couldn't match the price of "extreme customs"
Part Number : 393-157136MBML4 is what i bought its a 393 style rim 15x7 4x136lug mat black with machined edges.

what I wanted is no longer available the 393 in all mat black vs the machine edge. and at 8" wide.
Extreme Customs - dont call them.. waist of time. i used the chat and they quoted me the rims at 90$ each free shipping and no taxes. so for 360$ total i got rims on the way!!

now for the tires. i am still looking at the achilles desert hawk x-mt but i thing im going with the 32/11.50r15.
on amazon i have found them at 147 a peace free shipping. that will be 638$ after taxes. the 31's are 546$

that's a grand total of $2,005 for 32's or $1,913 for 31's

let me know if any of you find better deals but i think this is probably the cheapest/best way to get 32's under your p1000

well everything is on order!

the CFAB lift is about 6 weeks out. i went with white. 1007$
the vision 393 15" rims, 2 showed up yesterday and the other 2 i hope are on the way 360$
if last minute changed my tire.. i went with rockabilly tires 32x10x15 from summit racing 712$

i went with the Rock A Billy for a few reasons.
1 its rated at 8ply at 8psi meaning its made to be low on pressure.. a lot of tires depend on more psi to be strong

2 the cost was at the same point for me. i got these tires at 154a peace plus shipping and handling.
im gonna bet if you were good you could find an online company that doesn't charge shipping or taxes and get them to price match with summit racing. i normally would have but summit only had 4 let in stock so I didn't have time to barter.

3 the tire is incredibly light it only weighs 37LBS compaired to a truck tire at 49LBS i bet the honda will be thankful

4 and not that its a huge deal but these tires were made with sxs in mind. the company set out to make a good tire that works with the weight and size of our rigs. and they kept the weight and cost down while doing it!

before i bought these i did bolt on a 30" Chevy suburban wheel and tire to see how the pioneer handled it.

it looks a little goofy.. but it was fun doing grass donuts and not even tearing up the yard!

🤔 Are those chevy wheels in the back? You drill out for the right pattern?

Neva mind!!! 😂 I just read through the entire post 😂😂😂😂 nice! 😂
i plasma cut some 4x136 flanges and some 6x5.5 flanges.. 2" long 4in pipe to space the flanges apart. i put 1/2x20 bolts in the 6x5.5 flange and welded them in to make some custom wheel adapter/spacers. i spend about 4 hrs making these just so i could bolt on some chevy rims and see how the honda does with bigger tires.. when i take them off ill take a picture of these just for the laughs.. id say you should not try this at home..

full disclaimer just because i did it doesn't mean it was a good idea. but i learned what 30" tires felt like for 12$ in bolts.
P1000 had plenty of power. top speed was 65MPH on the dash. down from 67mph
that is with full windshield and cab. maybe a few more MPH with out the wind drag.
the 6 speed tranny makes alot more since with bigger tires.. normally this thing will shift 1-3 instantly and then ride 4 5 6.
with the larger tires it shifted 1-2 really fast and rode 3 4 5 6.. that tells me 1st is plenty low and i still have room for larger tire power loss wise.

I like the Achilles tires. Ive had them for 3 yrs now and are fantastic. I did 30’s. You will see a drop in power with any larger tire size. Not sure how much more from 30’s 31’s tho. I must say WOW with the Biden oil hike the price of tires have shot up too! I pd 99$ each for my Achilles 3 yrs ago!

The prices i was looking at was 127 for 31's and 154 for 32's on amazon.

and i really wanted to go with the Achilles. but the rock a billys at 156$ 32x10 and only 36LBS sold me.
the Achilles were a little wide at 11.5 and came in at 49LBS

if these rock a billys dont impress i thing im going to try the Achilles next! the biggest reason i wanted truck tires was for the cost and for the long lasting tread and puncture resistance.

figures a truck tire ment for 30k will last for ever on a sxs!!

you have and pictures of your 30's on your pioneer!?

There 9.5 wide and i run SATV arms and 1”&1-1/2” spacers. The ware is fantastic. I had 3 other sets if utv tires before just to show u the longevity. As for weight. If your going slow and 10-50 miles a day the weight wont bother you. I ride 100-150 a day average speed 30-40 mph up here n snowmobile trails, swamp and we do ride south and out west rocky trails. Still not an issue. The 30’s do the job just fine. And remember, LT tires are true to size. 2 out of the 3 sets of utv tires i had were shorter than what they said they were.

THAT LOOKS AMAZING!! i hope I don't regret not buying the Achilles. the rock a billys are true to size as well, you have the rear a arms to? i like the amount of space between the finder and your tires in the rear. i load my unit down with wood al the way to the roof and it rally squats the unit.
what fenders do you have? looks like mud busters in the rear but the front is different

how do you like the light bar on the hood? mines on top and it makes it too hard to remove the roof..

Do u have fox shocks or stock? This would explain your squatting issue cuz i load mine with wood alot also. I have fox shocks and upgraded the springs.

I do have rear SATV arms. I highly recommend if you do any arms just do them all you wont be disappointed.

yes i have mud busters, front and rear. The front also has LE flares.
i like the bar on the front. Thought it would be in the way but its not. I never notice its there.
