I have read that taller tires will give me a bit more top end. Then I would have lower cruising speed. So my question is does anyone know which 27" or 28" are the lightest? I don't think I want to get 30", I might lose bottom end. Any help would be great.

I like these but not sure on what the sizes mean. I think I will go with 28's. Stock sizes are 25 x 8-12 and 25 x 10-12 I believe. I see they have 28X10.00R12 but not 28X8.00R12. Their website says the 28X10.00R12 are for front and rear. Does that make sense to have the same size front and back?

I like the mud lite tires better for deep mud and snow, they are kind of like sand paddles. I bought the 2s from motoxmall for 435 for 27x12, they are radial, 1200lb rated(another thing you have to watch you don't get quad tires. 28 and 32lbs is pretty decent for a radial too. like 27.8 mounted diameter. I also don't use same diameter front and back, seems better in the clay the wider it is with side tread

I run 28x8x14 and 28x12x14
I went with after market rims because they make the machine look so muck better. On you running 28x10x12 all around I really don't know.
But I can tell you that 28s will rub unless you shock upgrade or put on at least 2" of lift.
On a stock machine 27" is the best size.also when you go bigger tires, you will wear more mud. And if you add muddbusters fender flares the 28s will rub like crazy. But for me, if I could fit 32s they would be on it. The pros of bigger tires outway the cons anyday for me.

exactly why I went with 27, don't want to mess with the lift or getting covered, stock wheels will keep them under the fenders. haven't had time to mount them but hoping thanksgiving break maybe

I run same size all way around I can rotate them and to me the skinny fronts wear bad on the road and I like the looks of wide all way around
