What is the load capacity of the Honda switch plate? I’ve seen people online wiring everything from lights to seat heaters, it looks to me like small gauge wire so I’m guessing 20a max for all 5 switches. Wouldn’t a relay box be needed so the switches fire the relay that would actually power the accessories? If you are running a relay box, where are you mounting that, I’m not interested in spending $500+ on the switch pro stuff, it’s really a question of the Honda switch plate or build my own switch plate and relay box depending on what the Honda harness can handle. I can’t find anywhere where they publish load ratings.

The whole harness is on a 50A max. That's combined all 5 lines.
That's the only "official" specs you will find.

After that, each one should not push more than 15amps through a switch. Most switches are rated for 20 like you said.
Anything over or close to 15a draw I recommend using a relay.

I see it has a 50a fuse but it looks like 14ga wire back to the battery, I’m not a wiring expert at all but how does that size wire carry 50a without overheating? I just don’t want to overload that switch panel.

Idk.. I'm not a Honda engineer. Lol.

I have one in my hand.
No markings on the wire.
Cutting it, it seems to compare to 12g TXL.
Main wires are not 14g nor is it 10g.
And it's almost 8ft long.
Relay and fuse are both 50a rated.

If you account for a 5% drop vs the standard 2 with 13.8v then it works.
