P1000 Local Dealer must be crazy

Thanks for the quick feedback. Their price on the P1k5 has comedown in the last couple of week and is actually lower than what I have seen, they are at 14,870. But the delivery, tech set up and prep and doc fee - fully recognize we all want to make a profit and appraeachiate that. I need to get in a haggle mode a little more tomorrow.

Best prices nationwide can be found on atvtrader.com. Do a nationwide search, putting in what model you are looking at. Then you can sort the results to narrow your search. It will show you the lowest price anywhere and you can use this info during your negotiations. There will be some prices lower then dealer cost, but these dealers will add higher dealer costs to make it up. So always talk in 'out the door' prices!

The best part was when they came back with the "final" offer highlighted in yellow and asked me to sign. I took the contract and wrote in the highlighted area "with windshield" and handed it back to the salesman. He looked at it and shook his head, no. I said, "it's in the contract". Bottomline, they still made money and will make more off of the accessories and service. It was a good experience and this machine rocks.
