P700m4 lowering a hard roof

My 700-4 barley fits in the shed now (.5"-1" clearance). i know some people have relocated the middle and rear brackets to lower the roof a few inches. anyone have pictures of this?

I don't have any yet, but I plan on doing this to mine this spring after I take the doors off for the summer.

My 700-2 has a hard top and rear section. I can't load it on my trailer and clear the door of my shop with an 8' door. I hate the height issue - 3" would be all I need to clear but the windshield, soft doors and hard rear section will will be junk to me if I chop the cage.

I turned both the middle and rear clamps upside down. Was able to gain about an inch or so of clearance by doing this

I thought you could do this but I wasn't sure without trying it.

8' door and won't clear? Ive gotta 700-4 with CanAm Commander shocks on 28's , i flipped the rear roof clamps and drilled new holes for middle clamps and clear an 80" opening by about 1/4-1/2".

I cut 3 1/2 " from the middle and 5 1/2" from the rear and left the front stock to not mess with the Honda windshield. It clears my trailer door by about 1" and looks level instead of raked up in the back.
