As for Smitty he walked away with no damage and I am taking him with me to the track as I place my bets... he has some luck

Not sure if you noticed but the Sign that said “Extreemly Dangerous ahead” was at the top rather than the bottom lol. Everyone made it fineI would like to thank all you guys and gals for letting me and my buddy ride along with you. I had a great time and Jim said he did to.
And a big thank you to the cooks for that fantastic meal.
The lady at Mack's Pines said the trail we took after the bent tree was one of the roughest ones on that side of Hwy 7 and we all made it to the top of the big hill, so high fives to all of you. I don't know what happened - Smitty was doing fine when I left.
That's the tree the locals call the bent tree, a sign at bottom of the hill would have been good. Not sure if you noticed but the Sign that said “Extreemly Dangerous ahead” was at the top rather than the bottom lol. Everyone made it fine
Couple of cool looking trees on the trail- here is one. Be neat to see how the group photo turns out when Walter has time to upload his videos.

I wasn’t sure about awaking a sleeping bear.I was in cabin you shoulda knocked I just assumed as hard as it was raining you were staying inside!
We didn’t get to that side, our original guide was talking about it though. That’s on the national forest side. Good trails over there. Tons more behind Mack’s Pines that will take you to the Illinois bayou for some good swimming holes!!.
