I thought @PioneerPete had 4+3 offset
nah, those msa wheels are 3.5x3.5, and the carnivores only measure 27" at trail pressure which helps with the rubbing. for the record, I do get some scrubbage on the mud buster inserts where they don't conform to the fender shape tightly enough, but they wouldn't rub on the fender without the mudbusters.
I'll eventually go to the forward arms and try to run 30" carnivores on these wheels.

What lift did you take off? And why?
it was a highlifter... I liked it Ok, but don't need it for what I'm trying to do. I can get some lift out of my shock preload, and once I do forward arms I should be able to run 30s with no lift.

I'm running the 28x10s and I love them. they barely measure 27" when mounted and aired down to 12psi, but I have been very happy with them. no lift required.
I'm wanting to go with the 28 but can I get a picture of the true height? Camp are to factory

Awesome tire choice I can vouch for that. But think you will rub in those hard turns without forward A-arms. 28s you will be good

Your dealer is wrong..
So I guess I would be wise to go smaller if stock machine? With 28x10-14 Carnivores or my other thoughts for an upgraded tires are the STI Roctane XD's 27's or 28's or the EFX Motoclaws 28's---again your comments are appreciated. I'm riding rough northern trails with rock and some mud.

At some point or another we’ve all had the same question... 28” is the largest you’ll get on a stock machine without rubbing. The difference being it all tires measure true to size.

does any one have a real measurement of the 30x10-14 Carnivores on stock wheels? From my reading the 28's measure 27" so wondering if mounted 30's measure 29"-28" making them basically the largest tire with no lift or forward arms.

Anyone with 30x10-14 Carnivores to measure actual height?
TIA

My 30" terrabites and evos measure approx 29". The Evos rubbed with bracket lift. 28s are gonna be max with stock suspension.

Hey Pete, so I could put 2" lift on and run 30s and be fine. You think the 30s run small too?

If you want to run 30s and not worry about tearing your fenders up, you need arched Aarms that have a forward offset. A lift doesn't eliminate the rubbing issue.
