Got my whips mounted up today and connected wiring from whip to whip. Still waiting on the main power supply. It wasn't in the box when they shipped them to me.

Well I am 90% done wiring my winch. Everything is wired up and working I just need to go back now and clean up the wiring and tighten up all the bolts. Also need to install the remote plug but that should not take too long. I was glad that it worked and the magic smoke was not let out lol.

Yes I'm waiting on the control cord from aura. It fell out of the box when they shipped it I guess and I haven't been able to explain what I want from them yet. They sent me another powered quick connect.

The mounting brackets don't come with the whips. Where'd you buy them from, and what are they called?

Amazon...you have to drill the hole out to 1/2" but that's really easy on an aluminum bracket.

@nbomar, Whips, mounting brackets and rock lights are on their way. I hope my box doesn't come open during shipment. Everytime Amazon ships me something in a long narrow package it seems inadequately protected. I wish they used shipping tubes for things like these whips. I hope they get your missing part replaced.

Piddling today and switched out my rigid fogs for rigid ambers I had laying around. The ambers actually do much better in the dust than the white.
