P500 Need Help - Light Bar Install

I bought a 12" lite bar (36 volt) that did not come with a switch, which of course I'll need to buy.

It has two short wires supplied. Utilizing the Honda harness, what else do I need (wires) and a crude diagram for this electrical noob would be greatly appreciated!

no expert by any means but fwiw mine came with wire heavy enough for the length of run based on max amps, inline fuse ,relay ,switch. one of the wizards will help with a diagram

That would be fine. Adding in a 10 amp fuse.

Most don't like this because it is directly wired. But it's fine for small draw items.

Assuming you mean 36 watts... not volts.
If the package says 36 watts. Then a 5 amp fuse is what you should use.

Still unclear..

Does it say MAX 36 volts.
Because your system is 12 volts.

72 watts on 12v needs 10 amp fuse.

Ok. Its 32v max.. Just making sure it will work with 12v.
One guy I dealt with bought a 24v only light. I never seen one like that. It was actually for some industrial equipment. He was SOL.
