I do have a Fein universal tool, with maybe a paddle bit or, if I can round one up, a hole saw for the corners. 🙄

Mostly, don't wanna mess with four more mounting holes. Plus my trimming is likely to be messy.

I'm w Prez on this one, trim the skids to fit the nerfs, not the other way around.

X3 definitely trim plastic before structural steel

Borrowed a jigsaw from a friend. Went ok, not my best work. Been a long time since my brief trim carpentry stint. Cut the skids in 7 or 8 places, and trimmed the front mud flaps. Skid was hitting the nerf at its front tapered point. Also at the rear of the nerfs, a bit.
Added a skid mounting point/+nut at each nerf bracket cutout.
Opted not to cut out around the front nerf mounting bracket; sandwiched it, should be fine.
