I need help. I feel stupid for asking but I can't figure out where the "J channel" hooks go. I've read the instructions and tried several different configurations but none of them seem right.

It goes over the top of the braces and clips on the outside edge of the flat on the rops .. you’ll literally be staring at where it attaches when you look up.

Thanks for the reply. Is this correct?

I tried there but but it didn't seem wide enough to reach. I'll try again. Thank you

If I do like you suggest, it comes up way short. I've checked this model number several times and it's supposedly the right one.. Here's a pic of how short it is..

Thanks for the pic.. I ordered the mid panel model 0SR95-HL4-205B. It says it's for 2016-2020 Pioneer 1000-5's.. However, I see there is another model shown on Amazon. It's 0SR95-HL4-211A. Maybe I should return this one and try the other model

Maybe they sent the one for the 700?

I thought so too but there's a tag on the inside of the fabric panel and it has the correct model number. I notice though that in the instructions, there are slits in it for the plastic net clips to stick out, mine doesn't have those slits.

On my 700, the mid panel didn't have these extra pieces (J channel), so I don't believe it's for a 700.

Just did a little more researching and you have the rear panel for the 1000 3 seater. The correct number is the 0SR95-HL4-211A for the 1000-5 mid panel.

That's odd.. Maybe they just messed up on the width on that particular panel. I ordered the 0SR95-HL4-211A model this time from Amazon. I should have it in a couple days. I'll see if it fits better and keep everyone posted.

You're right.. I just checked online, it advertises it for the 16-20 Honda pioneer 1000. It didn't specify which one. I honestly thought it would be the same model for both. Thanks
