Hi all, new to side by sides here. I'm selling my Rincon to move into P500. I'm in Canada and looking to buy a new 2017 leftover for $10,000 plus taxes out the door. Firstly is this a good price and is there any difference between the 2017 and 2018? I can get the 2018 for $11,200 plus taxes out the door. Thanks.

Hey buddy. Welcome! First of all, I believe your 2017 and newer are all the same. Second, I don't know how pricing varies in Canada vs US, so someone else will have to pitch in on that one. I bought my 2018 brand new out the door this past October for $8775 US. If you were in the US I'd say look harder for a better deal, but not sure "aboot" Canada.

Welcome, 2017-18 the same. 2016 and earlier are different. Good thread on differences if you find used models in your search. P500 - Pioneer 500: 2016 vs 2017. Some fellow Up North members here might have some info. Good luck, and you have found the best forum IMO.

I'm in New Brunswick, and have 2017, bought last year, and paid more than that for it. That's a fair price.

Welcome! I also went from a rincon to a p500. Don’t really miss it,the cab and hauling capacity is so much better in a p500.

A 2019 P500 in Ontario is listed at $12,634 out the door but I am pretty sure my dealer would let you drive it away for 12K (+GST)

If I planned to keep the P500 until it died I would save the $2,000 and buy the 2017. If I thought I might be upgrading (if that was possible) in a year or 2, I would buy a 2019.

First of, what a great site! Second, thanks to all for replying. This is going to be my favourite forum . So I ended up buying a 2018 new P500 for $11,650 plus taxes. I pick it up on Saturday. I will take off the wheels from my Rincon as they are Maxxis Bighorn 25x8x12 front and 25x10x12 rear plus install 1.5 inch spacers all round. I will add a roof, winch and some kind of box for my gear and take it for moose hunting in the fall. Will post pics next weekend.
