I see where the 2020 Rubicon is getting a new bigger engine, what do you think the chances are that it will make it into the Pioneer?

showing the 518cc for rubicon and regular foreman. but not the pioneer. id imagine they would swap maybe next year as they probably use the rest of the 475s on the pinny. i cant see them running 2 different motors for their 500 class rec vehicles for very long

These are my thoughts exactly. I'd love to see the new 520 in the Pioneer - couldn't hurt anything, only enhance.

I wouldn't mind seeing a larger 500. Like 54-56" with a small dump bed.

was actually kinda curious what a 500 motor and trans would do in a 700. thought i seen in one of the other blogs that the 500 has taller gears (front and rear end) than the 700.

That's what I meant...the diff gears. I kinda wish the 700 was as low geared as the 500.
The different ratios listed front and rear have caused a lot of discussions, but It has to be a typo, since it's impossible with the same height tires f/r. I think someone confirmed that the factory service manual lists the same ratios front and rear.

13 and 45 for 3.46 ratio for 700
53 and 21 for 2.52 ratio in 500
500 motor in a 700 wouldnt be fast but it deffinitely would turn 27s easier
