Im not sure how it works up there but, im from FL and I bought mine in Alabama. I had to pay FL taxes

I bought a shotgun ($7,000) in florida and didn't have to pay sales tax, pretty significant.

Damn you! That's cheaper than the listed price at my local dealer for a 700-4 deluxe! I've got to check them out. I'm wondering, If I'm from Illinois and buy it in Missouri, do I have to pay sales tax? Thanks Russ!

Not sure, we don’t pay sales tax in Missouri on a sxs unless it’s under 60” wide and under a certain weight.

Thats a good savings! Yeah every state is different. If it applies you can also do an Agricultural exemption. May help of you can do it. That place in Missouri is crazy though, if it wasn't so far thats where I'd go get a second 🤣🤣

I bought my 500 and 700 from them but I bought my 1000 from Honda of the Ozarks.

When I bought my P1K5D from Honda of the Ozarks they were cheaper than Abernathys.

I looked them up but at the time southern Motorsports in Chattanooga was my 2nd best choice price wise. But was actually my 1st choice😉 cause I would've keept going to RRB that same weekend. But they kinda changed the deal last minute on me and I didnt like that. So Alabama it was.

My out-the-door price (excluding sales tax) for a 2020 100-5 Deluxe will be $14,553 or 2019 700-4 Deluxe at $12,054. So, basically a $2,500 difference. Seems like the 1000 is a better deal compared to MSRP, but I'm still undecided. $2,500 buys a lot of accessories.

Welcome!!!! Man it's a tough call..... I really love the tranny in my 2014 700. I also like the size and weight. I bought it because Honda finally came out with a sxs that wasn't belt drive and the 1000 wasn't even a dream yet. The transmission is amazing. That being said, I really would love to have the power and turf mode of the 1000. Good call not going used with past 1000 tranny issues because you just don't know what it's been through. But, now that it's all been figured out I'd go 1000 next time. Probably a 4 seater.

Have u priced out a base P1K5? Theres really only 3 differences from the DLX. (L.E.D headlights, door panels, and rims/tires) now depending on base cost, panels are relatively cheap (around $300) l.e.d lights you'll probably end up adding a bunch anyways so not a big deal, and rims/tires you can always upgrade to somthing you really want at a later date anyways. I went with the base over DLX cause I could save about $2,400. That difference paid for panels, windshield, roof, and the 4 day trip to Alabama to purchase/ride. And some walking around $ left over.

Holy Cow. I hadn't even considered he base model, because I assumed it wouldn't have power steering (as is the case in the 700 lineup). But the sale price of the base model is only $500 cheaper at the place I'm looking.

The 1000-5's are actually 2020 models, according to the salesman I talked to they're not allowed to list a price that low on a 2020, so they claim it's a '19. The 700-4 actually is a 2019. Have to add roughly $1,050 to advertised price of any SxS to get "out-the-door" price

Can someone with a 700-4 deluxe and a Factory hard top tell me exactly how tall it is? Which tires? I'm pretty sure I'd upgrade to 27" if I go with the 700. I've got exactly 82 1/2" to get into the garage. That extra couple inches on the 1000, tighter turning radius, and 12" of ground clearance are pretty tempting. I'm really worried about buying used however.

I’ve got a 2018 700-4 with Factory hard top. With knobby tires. It’s a close Squeeze running it into my standard-size garage. How close? Well, after I’ve filled the tires with the correct air pressure, I have to ask my wife to sit in the passenger seat while I back it out of the garage so the right-side of the hard top doesn’t scrape the opening! (Please don’t tell her that I’m using her as ballast!🤫)

I paid 10,700 for a 2018 Used 700-4 Deluxe with 300 miles and 58 hours. No tax.
Love the paddles and PS on the Delux.

I put Sedona Ripsaw AT 27–9-R14s on front
and AT 29-11-R14s on rear.
TOTAL HEIGHT With OEM hartop 80 and 3/4”. Aggressive off road design. Bidirectional groves for mud. Love the Radial for wear and ride on pavement.

Sounds about what I was quoted trying hard to get the best deal at 3 dealers.
At least you have full warranty.
It took me 2 months to find a low miles, like new machine. Hard to find.

I knew that whatever I paid.... that I wanted these accessories that we all want after reading this forum... and would cost me another 2K.++🤪🤪🤪
