P500 New P500 Owner

I am finally a P500 owner. Today I bought a like new 2018 P500 (190 miles with 2 1/2 years on extendable warranty), now the expensive phase start ... updates! The P500 came with a Honda hard top, a Honda windshield, a bluetooth speaker/rear LED light, and a Honda rack mount storage bag. Next comes tires, a rear storage bin, a second battery, and a wench.

I have a question on a dual battery setup. I plan on going with two batteries and a switch to select Battery 1, Battery 2 or Off (no battery connected). My question is will I have problems when I have no battery connected ... will the computer loose engine or transmission calibration settings?

Lots of guys have put it under the hood. Couple of us have put it under drivers seat.

P500 - Battery Under Seat?

Has anyone ever installed their second battery under the driver's seat on a 500? Can't believe I would be the first to want to do this! I've searched the old threads and the web and can't find where anyone has done it, it's always placed up front under the hood. Just makes sense for me...
