Got me a set of 28" evo's on MSA F1 beadlocks. 9" in the front 11" in the rear. No signs of rubbing but won't get to really test them for a couple days. Got a side wall rip on the stock black stones and after seeing the sidewall thickness on those did not want to chance it. Those stockers were pretty thin. With the torq of this machine the rear tires really take a beating.

Those are sexy tires! I remember when mine had the new tire tits lol. Tits are gone along with almost all the yellow writing lol. Let us know what you think of them. I seriously doubt you'll rip the sidewall on those. If you do, you da man! Lol. They are seriously thick.

One thing I'm not too sure about is both front and rear are 7" wide wheels. When you put a 11" wide tire on a 7" wheel they are quite a bit taller than the front 9" wide fronts. Hope this does not cause any issues with gearing? Anyone else notice this?

I lost a few mph on top end but not many places I run 60mph lol. Can't tell any difference out wheeling. She still pulls steep grades like they aren't even there.

Doubt it's a mistake. They just run smaller than advertised at normal air pressure. You got off better than me. My 30s are just slightly over 28" (exact reason Joey didn't want them and gave me a deal on them). Mine will measure 30" if I run 32psi air pressure lol

Seriously looking at getting a set of these in the same size. I'm not looking to put a lift on anytime soon, so hopefully your trail test is good. Interested in hearing what you think of them and how they do.

I just put on a set of 28x10-14 Rocktane XD-K's on STI XD Beadlocks. The tires alone weigh 44 lbs a piece. Not sure what the stock black stones weighed. I lost about 7 mph top end. No big deal, don't really need to do 67 mph anyway. I feel like the loss of top end is a more than acceptable trade off for the 8 ply tires. This weekend I climbed several very steep and long hills with no issues whatsoever. Went right up a muddy steep grade like an absolute beast.

I had that same concern about tire height being different in going with 9 front and 11 rear on the same size wheels. I didn't know how much of a height difference there would be, but I knew there would be one. I ended up going 10 on all 4 for that reason and so that I could rotate them.

Is your machine stock, or lifted?

That's good to know. Right now it's a toss up for me between these and the Blackwater EVO's.

I went back and forth between the EVO's, the Rocktane XD, and the Rocktane XD-K. I finally went with the XD-K's based on the idea of increased puncture resistance (maybe I just got suckered into a marketing gimmick). Where I ride there are a massive amount of 3" long thick thorns that will go through a tire with shocking ease. A little extra insurance was worth the extra cost for the XD-K's.

I am about to pull the trigger on this set up.
What is your PSI front and rear at the measured heights?

If you're considering the EVOs...
Since you have the lift, you should get the 30" EVOs. Trust me, you'll see Delton's this week and agree. The same size all the way around is nice even if they are an 1.5" short.

If you don't have a lift, the 30x10's would rub in the front.
