Owner had to trim the frame to make the 28's fit and not rub.

If I use 1.5" wheel spacers, plus the 2" cfm lift, will I have to trim the frame to run 28x10x14s? I'm not worried about 3"-4" inches in width, but I do not want to rub. Also, how much low-end power is lost running 28s? The trails I want to run are steep, but at a relatively low elevation. (3,000 ft or less)

same here, frame mod, which was a 10 minuite job but I still need to cap the frame ends. 28x9x14 and 28x11x14 ITP mega mayhems with no lift. this rig really works well in the narrow atv trails and mud we have where we hunt.. I really haven't felt a loss of power which im sure the manual tranny helps a lot. now blasting through dunes would probably be a different story,
