P700 Oetiker clamp tool

Anyone here ever figured out where to to buy the tool for the cv boot clamps? I’ve searched the internet and can’t find it. The oetiker # is 14100500. What’s everyone else using? I’ve tried end cutters and pex tools with no success.

yeah it’s a fine line but I’ve had the best success out of them.

Don’t know why Honda put that style of clamp on. The older ones were easier to use.

This is the actual tool oetiker makes for the 192 clamps but couldn’t find where to buy it.

Have you tried any of the after market boots? I got the Honda boots and you had to buy them in a kit for the rear.

honda boot for mine still has the old style clamps from my dealer. now wether there is a style change yr break or not that i dont know. but mine is a 2014 and i just went and got a boot 2 weeks ago for front and my buddy got a rear 4 months ago

So you have the part # they sold you, because the P700 always had the newer "latch" style boot clamps and not the older fold over clamp.

I'd just like to know what their selling you, since you cant actually buy just a boot and clamp from Honda. You either get the inboard boot with 2 both clamps, snap ring, hog rings and grease. Or both boots 4 clamps, the rings and grease.

not sure really the box had the honda sticker on it and the shop itself is one of those all in ones. honda kawasaki yamaha dealers. and it looks like the original boots.

its not a honda original equipment. very similar boot but just a honda sticker on the box . because its a honda dealership
