Hello guys I would like to have on hand some magnetic oil drain plugs for my first oil change.
Does anyone know the size and thread pitch on the drains? Are the three oil drains the same size also?
Thanks

I used some rare earth magnets and stuck them to all 5 drain plugs.

Thy are very strong as you can see from the hammer pic below.

Here's the magnets that I used. I bought 10 of them which was enough to do both pioneers. I doubt you could buy five drain plugs for $15.

I too would like to know the sizes of the plugs thread size. I want to add fumoto valves. The company says it needs the size, since they don't list the p1k. I'd like to have them prior to my next oil changes. Way less mess.

The fumoto valves may stick down too much. They work great on a oil tank. I had one on my 2011 RZR 900.

Those super magnets may be available at Ace Hardware. I use a few when I adjust the valves. I stuff rags everywhere and put a few magnets on the bucket so the shim comes off with the bucket. Great idea using one on the drain plug, thanks. There will be a lot of metal at the first oil change then the drain plug will be fairly clean. The oil filter will have some aluminum pieces at the first oil change then be fairly clean too.

Did you ever get a fumoto valve? I put fumotos on everything I service regularly. I found the listing for https://www.amazon.com/Fumoto-F-109N-Engine-Drain-Valve/dp/B003VCDABU?tag=sxsweb24-20 looking for a 12mm valve and it says for use on Honda Industrial. I was just wondering which you went with.

12mm x 1.5 for oil drain. Go to their site and look by thread and see what you want to do.

I too use Fumoto on everything. I have been using them for the past 30 years. Never had a mishap. We used them in the Military as well. I've never heard of one being torn off or fail.
The only thing I don't particularly like about them is, they don't dump the oil fast enough in my opinion to carry all the junk from the pan. That's just my thoughts. I don't have any proof of this. I continue to use them. On my Pioneer and my Ram Dually (both which are a pain) I don't even spill 1 drip of oil. I like that. On the Ram you have 12 quarts of hot oil coming straight down fast with the stock drain plug.
(Side note) last oil change on the Pioneer pk3 I pulled the skid plate to ease the process. Works great, and no mess. I just used a 1/4" drive pneumatic ratchet, and it takes all of 5 minutes.
