Which way did you go?

Part of me says the longer brackets, so I keep the OE looking cable.. but then I'm not so sure I like the idea of it sticking up further..

& Farmer makes HD cables... but they don't have the round inserts like factory..

Yep ol Nurm came up with one of the easiest and cheap mods. 2 bucks gets ya a flat tailgate.

I bought the brackets and did the chain link extension to dads. I actually prefer the chain link.
