Latest updates, this thing is way too hot in temps 80F and above. I took the Seizmik upper doors off. I left the inner door frames intact. This flows much more air. Still too hot. Mostly coming from the seat. A181ECC6 BA2A 4F0B 9657 D6C95B2A96EB

Time to install the DEI heat shield. It’s a quality piece. You’ll need to remove the seat bottom, and seat back and plastic transition panel. The foam in the middle of the panel needs to be removed, as well as all rubber from the Honda comfort kit except the seat belt rubber flaps. The metal stiffener can remain. This wasn’t mentioned in the instructions, but after trial and error, it works best to keep it in.BA61847B 4841 4CC1 A7DD 0847273B6E35

Mold the two seat bottom panels to the buggy carefully. Take the time to get good alignment. This will pay off later. I used aluminum tape over most of the edges to keep them from separating. Start applying plastic rivets in the center on the seat bottom area and work out to the edges. B358B605 66DC 4EE2 A42D 15E2E9818870

Now position the plastic transition o POP panel. Apply plastic rivets from the middle of the buggy, working your way left and right. Use a #2 Phillips to aid in aligning the rivet holes.14FB9B96 DC13 463A AFC4 9F456E2CD78BBD64E875 5A35 4CB4 844B 077D962BF57C

This is a good time to check all electrical connections and intake boots for interference. Give a light tug on the fuel injector wires to ensure they aren’t loose. It’s an issue with P1000’s.10010ABA 4154 490D BE44 10F71B607307

Super ATV flip doesn’t work with my Seizmik upper doors, or I would have chosen it. I can’t do away with the windshield, there are simply too many bugs in Maine to do so.

I spent way too much effort on removing heat this winter and I'm 100% satisfied.

I added the Spal replacement radiator fan, it moves more air through the radiator. I had my header ceramic coated to improve cooling and keep mud from sticking to it. I have a 5" Spal underseat fan. I have the reflective sheild under the seat. I also have a Dynojet PV3 with the Dynojet fuel map. I modified the fan parameters to have the fan come on at coolant temp 180 instead of 220°F. I can ride with the windshield down and be happy about interior temp at 70°F

Will the PV3 allow shift point adjustments?

Also which of the 3 tunes they offer do you have?

Pv3 base map has different shift points but you can change them too. I'm not sure what the difference is between the 3 Dynojet maps but only one works on my machine. I'm guessing the are for the base model (no paddle shifters), deluxe and LE.
