I should have the new mounts in my hand tomorrow and should be able to give you a definite answer , afer I have a good look at them.
I do know it has 1/2" hole in new mount , so it may require some type of bushing !
I will keep you updated !
This is really the route I want to take , so I will make it work !

Took measurements, yes this mount should fit and it has correct mounting width, but we will need reducer bushings from 1/2" to 3/8"

I think steel is the material to go? or bronze is ok??

Good find , I think either one of those will work..........I will probably use the steel bushings !

If the bronze is a standard bearing bronze they will be fine but if its the sintered material that is oil impregnated not so much. To much chance of failure with that stuff.
Then steel is the way to go.

Ok this is what I came up with .I had to modify the new shock mounts (they will not fit as is) so I proceeded to grind on them.
I don't think this will work for you guys using the walker evens shocks , your springs will hit the stock mount (I think)

Where is your a arm sitting compared to when stock shocks are on?
The same or higher or lower?

The arm as you see it in the pic , is right where it would be if the stock shock was hooked up !
If you remember @jak9922 said in a earlier post , he would like to move his top Mount in 1.00" well I tried to take care of that with the bottom mount , by extending it out a little further!

if its (a arm) in the same place then you shouldn't loose any ground clearance,great job! More shock angle too !
I dont think this would work with the Walker Evans shocks though . The bottom of the WE shocks might need more clearance for the spring.

after the front springs were broken in there was no need to move the uppers in they are perfect with this set up
I could not resist and waiting slowly "kills me"
), so I've ordered lower mounts from summit, oh well , I will have spare or may be use them instead of Honda, since they look beefier, will see. I doubt I'm going to stock shocks ever after I put WE, next step then rear progressive. Never look back

New shock brackets are welded on.
I will weld some new bracket's for the brake lines and repaint everything and it will be complete !
I gained 3/8" clearance but I believe after it settles in , it should be back to stock height!
I have not taken it for a ride yet , it's raining here in Ohio , so maybe take a spin tomorrow!

im excited to hear how u like them remember they will be stiff at first going slow but they break in pretty fast and ride amazing
