Hello Forum, I'm new here, trying to order a Pioneer 1000 for fall, a dealer just told be the 1000-3 cargo bed is marginally larger than the 1000-5 seater? is this correct? does anyone know the internal measures of the Pioneer 1000 3 seater standard Cargo Bed Size?

We're training sled dogs and need to build a dog box inside the bed, every inch counts, we're looking for the biggest cargo bed Honda offers.

Thanks in advance.

The 3 seater has a bigger bed than the 5 seater. I don't know by how much but they are definitely bigger

I don't have the numbers but you will like the 3 seat bed better. It is significantly bigger and it is square. The 5 seat bed tapers in at the back to accommodate the roll cage. In either case, a fair amount of space is wasted in the front around the air box. You may find it better to remove the bed completely and mount your box directly to the frame.

great info, I wondered what the frame might be like underneath, if appropriate to build to. Thanks very much.

I would think it would be pretty easy to make a flatbed for the 1000-3.
