Pioneer 1000

Anyone hav a problem either a pioneer 1000 going into what seams to be a limp mode? When it’s cold and you first crank it the fuel pump sounds like hell and it idles roughy until it warms up. Also on the cluster it flashes a - where it shows the gear indicator 2 slow 1 fast

Is your seat belt buckled? A Talon or Pioneer will not run faster than about 10mph if the driver's seat belt is not fastened.

Seat belt doesn't apply here IMO.

Did the problem suddenly appear, or is it something that has progressively gotten worse? What year, how many miles, and recent mods? Once it's warmed up, does it run and drive normal?
