Where I live mostly plains, I was able to tackle few hills when trying to return to highway, from full stop and then go, might be hard in dry snow, so better if approach them with some momentum.
I think this is budget diy track project, they are faster and easier to put on then industrial camso or mattracks but would not go some places where 4x4 required . But for lakes, fields , and groomed roads or wet snow roads should work good.
Also just without skis with tracks and front diff engaged they would do way better then just 4*4 on tires .
I need to extend skis a bit by a foot overall and test again.
