The intake location is not in a clean area so I made a snorkel with a prefilter. I make a snorkel on all of my side by sides. I bought the 2 inch pipe and rubber connection parts at ACE hardware. I made my roof long in the front for a sun visor. We have several 50 inch trails so it was time to add the Pioneer 520. I won't be putting lots of miles on my 520. I have over 33,000 miles on my 2019 Talon R and over 6,000 on my 2020 Talon. No breakdowns so far. I will replace both when I get around 40,000 to 50,000 miles. I have had 9 Honda sides by sides and several Quads. Never had a breakdown on my Honda's but several on my Polaris and Yamaha side by sides. Had two Kawasaki's and no breakdowns on them but what a PITA to change a belt.

The crank case breather hose goes through the air filter box into the foam air filter. The 520 goes in on the bottom of the air box, the 500 goes into the side.

I had my inside the cab and noise level was bad. Couldn’t hear myself think on the roads travelling over 40kph. Now it’s relocated behind the top of the roof. Way quieter

I didn’t cut up the box to put mine in. Works and sounds good. Sorry about the dirt, was out late last night, the trails here are unforgivable.

Okay, so that's 1 for not too noisy, and 1 for "so loud I cant think"... mebbe I should start a poll? lol
Let’s just say, there is a noticeable difference. I have to say that the machine hos gotten quieter with the miles accumulated on it. Just over 2000km right now. The drivetrain is loud on these, I mainly hear my gearbox and rear end at this point

Ok, that's not so bad then, thanks.
