Hi all
I've got a 2017 pioneer 500 that I just bought used.
I went to our hunting trails today and couldn't help but notice how low the frame is ?
Any way to lift it ? Would just buying bigger tires be my easiest fix ? Thanks
Welcome to the forum. Running 27 inch tires, much better ride also. If running side hills or if width restriction is not an issue, many recommended 1.5 inch spacers. No spacers on mine x5 years in NW Ga hills, and have 5/2 offset rims which ends up 54 inches wide.
Look like stock fronts which would be 24” tires. So you could get more ground clearance with bigger tires. Generally recommended if you go up you also go out. New rim offset or wheel spacers.
It's the only fix really. Spring spacers and all that just make it ride like crap and aftermarket shocks don't make that much difference in ride height.
30 inch Carnivores on 14 inch wheels.
I had to cut and move back the frame 2 inches but well worth it.
I use ours to hunt 99% of the time and also need ground clearance.
Definitely lessened the power but as I said, I need clearance.
