Under the drivers seat.. if I can remember to take a pic tomorrow I will. But kilo has a build thread on it..

Great, thanks for the pointer. I've got Kilo thread so don't need pics. I like that solution since I won't need to take off the seat and that rubber shield. Steve

Forget the Honda under seat storage.. between this, the door mods and the under dash, you can store plenty of s*** you don’t need. View attachment 172203View attachment 172204

I ordered the same door panel and just got it yesterday. Now to find time to install it. Next is the light kit and aftermarket shocks. Then I will be set until someone else posts something that catches my eye. :)

Do you have a link for that thread. I have failed to find it looking thru the search feature. Keeps coming up empty?
I couldn't find it either but I didn't spend much time searching. I've got some pictures in my build thread and so does @Bad_bowtie. I'd be happy to get you any other pictures or answer any questions you've got. It really is a great mod!

We both did it a little differently (I cut some material off the hinge side).

Thanks, I will check those out. Was curious about the fit. Rough measurement seemed the front flat section was not big enough for the door to fit.

OK, I see it appears you cut off the hinge side as needed to make it it. On the right side, did you start your cut-out where the front and side panel overlapped?

I cut the material off the hinge side then held it up where I wanted it. Then used a silver Sharpie to trace the inner portion. Once I had that cut out I just snuck up on it until it was a snug fit. There will be a gap on the bottom that you'll need a longer screw for on the inside edge. I used a razor knife to cut a little off at a time after cutting the hole with the saw until it fit snug enough to hold itself in place without any screws.

No that is OK, thanks anyway. I got some up close pics on Adam's build.
I measured 7 5/16" wide and 10 5/16" long for the inside of the door (the hole you'd be cutting). That got me close enough to trim with the razor knife, but it wasn't an exact science for sure. I just made sure it was level before screwing the door in.

I like the way Adam did his door better than all the others I've seen. I cut some off the top and bottom of mine. It sticks out a little on the outside and u could potentially hang something on it and rip it loose. If i did it again I would do it like Adam did.

Forgot I never posted a picture in this thread after I did it. Here is the same door, I just cut about 1/2" off the hinge side so the outside sits flush.

This is how I did mine..
Did you cut some off the side and the bottom? I just noticed you still have your upper factory push-clip.
