I've had ATCs and ATVs since 1983. Just sold my 2001 Rubicon a little over a month ago,13,000 miles. My P5 will be a year old at the end of this month. 1200 miles and NO REGRETS!
The wife will not even get on my P5 lol said it is to "tippy looking". I'll just let her believe what she wants to!Welcome @RBSRanch , similar here with wife Rancher FA 6 upgrade, plus P500. Power Steering on P500 also nice addition, especially if she might want to drive. One handed steering.
That's a great story! I kinda did it different, asked the wife where the check book was and told her I was going to town to do something stupid, she thought nothing about it until I showed up with a S x S two hours later, only thing she said to me for two weeks was, that was stupid! Then she started working in her flower beds, I went down to the shop and loaded Rooster up with mulch, rakes, ect. Next day I got home from work, she had Rooster loaded down with equipment working in her flower beds, HA!Love my P5! At 70 plus years old I sold my 2 atv's and said that if I couldn't drive the truck and walk I didn't need to go. One hunting season later I had the proof that I wasn't the brightest light bulb in the box. After 2 very short talks with the wife I kind of got the idea she wasn't all that happy about the idea. About one hour after the last talk she (the wife) walked out of the bedroom with her purse on her shoulder. I ask "where you going", she says "I'm going to buy you that side x side. Do you want to go?" I say "Oh hell yeah". Love my P5! Any regrets? Nope not a one. Did I tell you I love my P5?
If my wife gave me the check book you can bet there wouldn't be any money in the account. She wrote the check for the s x s and I put the roof, windshild, front storage tray, cargo tray and rear view mirror on the card. On the way home she said something like "this is like buying a boat isn't it. All the accrossries you just have to have". Like any good husband I lied and said "no way babe, just a few odds and ends". The woman has no sense of humor about money. LolThat's a great story! I told him about a scene in a movie and he reproduced it for me as a graphic, I think he can do just about anything and he's a great guy! He has become one of my close friends. He uses 3M vinyl thats easy to work with.I'm working with Walter again right now on making a graphic for the back door of the enclosed trailer. Sent him a pic of what I wanted, if he can reproduce that image in a much larger size...it's gonna be BA!

You trade your M5 in, I would have thought you would have got boot. HA!I went to Dryer Honda in Indianapolis. I was looking to trade my Yamaha Royal Star off on a 4 - wheeler. The Owner showed me a Pioneer 500 and I fell in love. I had to pay some of the tax so it cost me $300.00.
Sorry wrong thread. You trade your M5 in, I would have thought you would have got boot. HA!

Has anyone went Pioneer from an ATV and regretted it?

Wife finally started driving P500 and now uses it often for garden chores, but still drives her Rancher daily on her pasture track.
Having both is great, a P500 and a wife who enjoys off roading. 37 anniversaries and counting. Pioneer woman, she could kicka$$ any snowflake that messed with her, (even without her 38 cal.). We are a CC couple.
