other than the factory accessories that everyone has mentioned already, i came up with a dust and heat buster that helps alot from under the bencj seat see pic. i used the insulation roll bubble wrap from home depot and cut a section to fit. View attachment 11502 View attachment 11503
how has the insulation under the seat done for u so far? does it make a big difference?

Yes. it cut some noise down , closed the gaps around the seat cushion to frame and i don't notice the heat like i did without it. now i am working on the center area between the bed and seat back to close those gaps off with insulation. hope to have a solution soon.

DTAGG,
After looking at what you did under your seat, I went looking at the Home Depot website to see about the product you used. I can't seem determine which insulation you used, would you give me a bit more detail on that please?

This started out as a temporary fix, but after getting them on, I like it. Won't help with cleanup but should keep some mud off of us due to those Evos sticking out past fenders. Removing/installing is a breeze with those plastic rivets. I accidentally ordered some 10mm ones and they are perfect for this.

Did you cut these yourself? What did you use?

1 self tapper & 4 bolts per side will have to be removed. I thought about using the plastic push rivets from the front but wanted a tighter connection. If the inconvenience becomes to much I will most likely replace with something more easily removed!

Yours does look good, I like the looks of it better than mine. Especially with the custom lettering. Just for your information, the plastic rivets have never failed me even when trailering at 65-70 miles an hour. I cut a slit in the extensions so that they could easily be removed. I cannot see a cut in yours, do you have to remove the roll cage bolts to get yours out?

It may not be a big deal for you, but I use the dump bed quite often around the homeplace. Congrats on a cool set up. And you know what they say, mockery is the highest form of flattery.

Thanks, but I believe you deserve all the credit! my design has the slit on the opposite end forty-fived toward the center. I recently installed the universal Rally Armor mud flaps on a vehicle and after seeing your design, came up with the idea. $25 dollars on eBay for a set of four.

Looks like we've got another welder with a bit of skill....that TIG job on the tip looks great. That's pretty much the only thing I've never learned how to do. I want to so bad, just don't have anyone in my shop who does it or any equipment. But I can weld like a mofo with the MIG and arc. Welcome to the club, and that's a good looking color, I've got the same one and love it.
