28 inch outlaws w/two inch lift..28x9.5-12 and 28x12.5-12. just installed. haven't rode much. tears up the yard a lot more than stock. will do a donut with out thinking twice on dry pavement and drifts. notice lack of power just off the line but after 10 mph i didn't notice any power loss after that until i couldn't hit the rev limiter but topped out at 43mph on dash but was actually doing 46mph. going to do a real ride tomorrow(fat daddys atv park) next is power upgrades

I broke an axel yesterday, slid off into a clay pond and buried the rear passenger tire horribly and "pop" . I had to winch to two four wheelers at the same time to pull me out. thank god it was a $101 axle, could have been a lot worse.

Didn't see a thread like this, so let's see your wheels and tires! Post up the sizes and if you have a lift how much.

I just ordered these MB wheels in 14x7. Likely going with 28x10-14 Tusk Terrabites when I save a few more dollars.

Pictured on this one is 12" wheels and 26" tires.

Had a similar experience monday, got hung up on a stump, left side in the air and right side burried down. Snapped the right rear. Was hoping warranty would cover it but honda denied me. Ordered a Rhino to replace it.

Took 2 winches (me to a tree, another pioneer to me), a shovel, and a lot of work to get it out. one of my worst stucks. Dented the skid plate from the stump. Also coming out of the ruts my tire stem on front tire got pulled out. So had to ride back with 1 completely flat tire and 1 broken axle... not a look people typically associate with Honda.

really like the look of the SS212.

Just got these put on today for Windrock this weekend. They are Maxxis Zillas 27x9x12 fronts and 27x11x12 rears. Like the looks of them, a little vibration on pavement, betting they ride better on the trail and really good on the mud. I've got 12lbs in the fronts and 16lbs in the rears. What's everyone else running in a similar tire?

He does unless he doesn't make turns. Cause 10s in the front will rub on minor turns.so 11s are going to wake you up. Even with 2 inch lift

3" lift they don't rub except on compression while turning.

Would someone happen to know the offset mm of the stock steel rims? I'm planning on purchasing new wheels within the next two weeks. Looks like MSA only has a -10, 0, and +10 mm offset. If that is the case then I'm gone go with the +10 to keep the tires inside as much as possible. +10 mm is roughly equivalent to 4+3 on a 14x7 rim???

Well after further research I came up with my answer.

Front rims- 6in wide, 4.75 bs= +42.7 mm offset.

Rear rims- 7.5in wide, 5.75 bs= +50.8 mm offset.

+10 mm 14x7 rims would indicate I would gain an additional 1.3 inches per side on front and 1.6 inches per side on rear.

+10 mm rims are (3.9x3.1) or aka 4x3.

For future offset reference. Going from stock steelies to 7in wide rims.

+10 offset= front 1.3in per tire/ rear 1.6in per tire.

0 offset= front 1.7in per tire/ rear 2 in per tire.

-10 offset= front 2in per tire/ rear 2.36in per tire.

28x10x14 Maxis Carnivore on HD6 wheels 5+2, in blue of course. I've got the commander shocks with the 2nd preload setting up front and they rub a bit with compression.

Those buckshots look awesome. I just got these Carlisle Versa Trails in 27" today. I'm just going to go with the stock rims as I really didn't want it to set any wider. I'll get them mounted next week and report back.
