We are looking to buy a 1000x lv soon. A dealer I've bought from before has a 2023 for 17,999. Another one 50 miles further has a 2024 for 18,599. I realize there aren't many differences in the years. The 23 seems like it's a little high based on what depreciation you'd have in the extra year. What do you folks think? I prefer the color on the 23 but they're always mud brown when you use them

Both are listed as 1000x live valve. I guess I'm curious what I could offer on the 23 without low balling. I've bought from both dealers in the past. Both have been upfront and honest with the prices they advertise. No surprises. The one with the 24 is generally cheaper most of the time.

Does the '23 have factory lower door fillers?

From what I can see in the pictures it looks like it does.

So then it's not an S model

So it has the new better power steering, better Steering Angle Sensor set-up, the lower doors with cup holders and a few other things.

Other then the year they are identical units.

If you can... Buy local. Make them your friend.
This is the key to any warranty work in the future.

2023 (not S) is practically a 2024 model.
Only difference we know of will be that sticker.

FYI - when ordering parts. You need to remember and verify it for a 2023 (not s).
Or just order from the 2024 listing.

Thanks for the info. Neither dealer is really local to me now. They are from where I used to live. The closer one is about 80 miles away. 2 dealers in southwest Indiana (my local) are so overpriced any time I look for something. Plus neither of them even have an x model on hand. They say they can get one but then you pay msrp. Plus transport, assembly, paperwork, etc. Been this way each time I buy something. Southern Illinois dealers always beat them. I guess they just assume people will walk in the door and buy without checking around.

Where is the 2024 model your looking at?
We have a '24 X2 base model in black for that the same price. I can't see them selling a LV for that low.

Sorry if that pic didn't post right. I'm an old guy, not proficient at these things. Nashville il. It does say cash price is 18399. I assume there's an incentive to finance thru them

220, 221 - whatever it takes. They all drop in value like a rock in water the moment you buy them. LOL.

What color is the '24? If you like the '23 and it's a non-S model (seems it is), then I say go with the '23 to save cash.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't ALL the '23 LV's non-S models? Or was that just the R LV's?

Have you actually called and talked to them for that pricing? I did call them and they tacked on almost 3k in bs fees obviously non starter for me.
Best otd pricing I have got thus far is $19,300.+ your state tax, title, license if applicable. Hope that helps. I would have bit but they wanted to give me $8k for my 2018 pioneer. No thanks

Agreed. If they charge for anything more than the machine, freight (currently listed as $1,370 on the Honda Powersports web site and the same as what I paid for my '23 back in '23), sales tax, and title/reg fee, then tell them to pound sand. I'm OK if they want to add a few dollars more for a doc/administration fee, but there's no reason they can't eliminate that or keep it pretty low (maybe $150 at most). Don't pay for assembly, prep, or any nonsense like that, and forget any dealer add-ons. You can do better yourself later -- everyone on these forums will help you spend your money on farkles.

Good to know. I've bought 4 things from them in the past. Most recent was in 2022. I've never had them change an advertised price. But I know things can change. The other dealer I've bought a few more things. Dad bought my first bike there in 1976. (Told you I was old). They're smaller volume and still owned and operated by the same family. Usually a little higher on price. I'll update on what we find out. I'm getting over the flu so maybe I'll visit them next week
