I ordered my probox top option 2 today. Should be here in a couple of weeks and will keep everyone posted.
Think I saw someone on Facebook say between 130 to 140 and I saw it it on the net so it must be trueHow much does it weigh?

Yeah and this guy said you could feel it and was thinking of going wide offset on rims.... That's a lot of nice options thoughWow that's heavy
I don't think that is correct the roof is 3 hollow core fiberglass panels sandwiched on top of each other with a bedliner sprayed on it for a finish. Figure the weight of the stereo system (4 6×9 + 12" subwoofer, 800 watt amp, etc. and lightbars those could be 40 lbs total alone plus maybe 40 lbs on the fiberglass roof itself it could be 100 lbs. All those integrated items do add up.Think I saw someone on Facebook say between 130 to 140 and I saw it it on the net so it must be true

I ordered the option 2 with the amp and the sub for 2950.00. I could have got the other one for 1950.00. Both are installed prices. Thanks for posting VERY interested in that one, just $2400 in one pop seemed a bit much, unless the are much cheaper than that. It is a roof, 800 watt stereo with 12" sub a 36" front LED light bar and 6 " LED rear light bar all integrated into one slick unit. Would beat the crap out of running a ton of wires.
Please post pics before and after mounting.
I understand it weighs about 140 lbs. That was what Gerald at probox told me.How much does it weigh?
Wow $1K for adding a 800 watt amp & a 12" sub is a bit of a hike, but I must admit it is one slick looking setup. Thanks for the info. The best price I got quoted on the package 1 was $1850 before tax and not installed, so your prices seem right on.I ordered the option 2 with the amp and the sub for 2950.00. I had the opportunity to see the top in person. However it was on a Can-Am 1000. It looked really good, but i have to honestly say that i was disappointed with the sound. It had an 8 speaker (6x9's) system.any update here?
I think you are probably right about the can am ProBox top! I do not remember seeing an amp, but it did have a very thick plug coming out the back to power it.My assumption on the one on the previous post didnt have the amp and sub if it had an even number of speakers. Mine sounds great and will put it up against any mass produced top on the market. Very happy with it and the way it looks.
