P1000 top speed

got a new 2020 1000-5 deluxe got 300mile on it and does not run as fast as I would think only been in upper 40s on stock everything. Put new set of tusk terrabite tires stock size on it couple days ago and it has made even worse witch I was planning on that with the heavier tires just seems to be lacking in speed for all the stuff I've read on them compared to others. Am I missing something? Thanks

Somethings not right, I can still hit 56mph on the dash and I’m on 30’s.

Thats what I'm talking about everybody else has one of these will run 50 to 60 all day tell them mine will just bump 50mph on a good day they just look shocked at me lol

I’ve had mine up to 60 on stock tires, I’d take it to the dealer.

Stock tires on my GPS is 66 mph @8000 rpm, I would take it in to the dealer if you aren't able to get it over 60 mph.

Yeah definitely something not right..... mine ran 68 on GPS last night trying out my new 235 75r15 truck tires and they're pretty heavy.

I believe 66 MPH is the magic number. Mine anyways on 29's.

Stock gears will hit 66 MPH (on the speedo) at 8000 RPM rev limit. Something definitely wrong.

I have a full one piece windshield, roof and rear panel. Mine hits 66 (then the rev limiter) pretty easily in still air. Going into a stiff breeze will limit it to about 62.

Are you drinking lite beer ? if not that could slow you down a bit.

Mine will hit 67 with same tires as yours, then rev limiter engages.

I have no problem hitting 65 with my rouge screen on. With the Honda 2 piece it takes a bit more run way but it will get there.

You definitely have a problem. What did your dealer say ?

My 2016 pioneer 1000-5 tops out at 66 mph

Finally got it out today and had to out run some rain had it over 50mph guess I wasn't running it hard enough anybody seen the long term on one running wot for short periods of time. Or did honda design them to run like that all the time?
