P1000 Question about which machine to buy

I agree P1-3 LE is the better deal. Less than 10k would be a bargain.

It would primarily be used hunting. My thoughts were the 1000-3 would work but the clutch issues in the 16’s and 17’s scare me a bit. The 1000-6 is intriguing as well but it’s just so damn long. They have those for sale at 19k locally

You could price out the clutch upgrade and include that in your pricing. Too bad the original owner didn't get the upgrade done under warranty.

Well, the 1000-3 got sold before I could make the 3 hour drive to get it. I’ve been so busy at work I just couldn’t find the time

Yesterday I had to travel to look at a ranch on the western slope and stopped in and saw a 1000-6. The ground clearance is better than I thought it would be. The 1000-5 I posted here is nice but for about 4K more I’m in a new machine

IMHO, there's far more of a difference between a 1000-6 and the 1000-5 versus the 1000-3 vs 1000-5.

3/5 are arguably more trail oriented and the 6 is more ranch/farm oriented, with the 3 being more utilitarian than the 5 due to the lack of jump seats.
