question on wiring a terra 45sr

I just purchased the terra 45sr,and have a question I seen where someone said they mounted that fuse (done forgot what its called)in the box where the tool pouch is.My question is I dont see how to secure it in there. I do see that its a very good spot for it though. Thanks for your help..

yes i believe so its the red wire of the positve post on the battery.

I think you are talking about the circuit breaker. Wrap the ends in elec tape or shrink wrap then zip tie the wire to the plastic somewhere out of the way.

The Solenoid / Contactor is this thing.


Some people put it in the tool box slot too.
I chose to mount mine under the front hood.

If you mount this there then you do not want the circuit breaker there too!
A good zip tie is easy and cheap. Will be hard to get a bolt on it down in that small hole.
Its not really going anywhere even if you don't secure it. Just need to stop it from moving around so much.

I didn't even use the circuit breaker. Inline fuse right after the battery. I've had 5 ATVs with winches for plowing and never one issue. solenoid under the hood

cant get my winch to work. I have everything wired except the switch (red wire to the ignition switch) and no luck. What am I missing.

Red is the "on" wire for the main contact. Give it 12v and it should work.
