On the left is an oem brake pad with 2500+ miles.
On the right is a race driven brake pad with 350...maybe 400 at the most miles.
Needless to say im not impressed. The race driven pads are half of the oem....bit if they wont even last half as long guess ill go back to oem.

Looks like I’ll be changing mine again after Takeover at this rate! The next trip will be Moab and I should prolly have good brakes there!

Are these front or rear pads that you're comparing? In my experience the rears wear a lot faster. Still, I got 900 miles on my rear Racedriven pads

I changed my rears last July and just had to change them again - my rear pads looked about the same but for $35 I put the same back on....

This is the rear....the fronts still look good.

My rears were squeeking at 900 and fronts looked great. Honda probably should have put bigger pads on the rear of these machines
Agreed...i went ahead and ordered another set of the RD to hopefully wear down the fronts. Then will switch back to oems. My oem pads wore pretty even front and rear

I did the same thing. I ordered all 4 thinking they wouldmwear the same like the OEM pads but the fronts were perfect. Now I have a new set of RD rear, front RD with tons of pads and a set of each in the spares box. Maybe somebody else will come out with another option in the mean time.

I only got 100 miles on mine but will be doing all the work on the rig myself they hard to change out ?
I really like using the paddle shifter to down shift seems it will save some wear on the pads

At 1200 miles, my front pads were toast and my rears were about half worn. I was really disappointed, thinking that I'd be ordering and changing brake pads with every oil change. I replaced them with the same OEM pads and now have about 5000 miles on them (6200 on the machine) and they're not squeaking yet. Maybe Honda installs cheap pads to keep price down? Or maybe the rotors had a rough surface from the factory that has smoothed? Dunno, but I'm satisfied with Honda replacement pads.

I just installed the RD pads on my machine, 2600 miles from the OEM, they were probably 1/16” pad thickness or less. I’ll see how these aftermarket pads work out, very easy to change.
