I made my rear inner wheel mud blockers. When I installed my nerf bars I had incorporated a spot to mount then too. They are easily removed by take two nuts off.Hoping they will keep things in and around the motor pretty clean.

That should do it.
Nice work. Ya, should keep a good bit of the mud out.

What material did you use?
Same material that I made my cab out of. It's rubberized swatter table canvas .

I don't mean to sound like a moron, but what the heck is that and where do you get it?

It's used on the table of a farmers swatter that is used to cut grain. The material can be bought at any farm dealer of farmers supply center. It's sold by the foot and is 42" to 44" in length. I used it because I had some extra laying around. One other idea I had was to buy a Round [heavy] plastic garbage can and cut it to use as the inner fender.

Has this made it easier to clean ?

Mud is a PAIN in all those books and crannies under the bed.

To be honest I never had to clean it before installing them so can't say for sure.I do know that all I have to wash out after being in the mud is the little bit of mud that sticks to them.I don't get that much mud under anywhere that makes it a pain to clean. I never had any mud under the front hood or firewall either with the front ones installed .The way it's designed etc it keeps thing's pretty clean. I'am not sure what it would be like say in thick mud flowing over the running boards ,but the style riding I do it's a pretty easy clean up after any rides. I can say that its a easy wash after rides.

Just running through gooey mud gets it EVERYWHERE it's a pain to clean. $20 if you go through a self wash or a good 30 mins at home just to get the mud out.
