It is unclear if this is a new recall, escalated recall, or just the "official" CPSC notice to the one many of us have already received regarding the throttle body.
That notice can be found here - P1000 - RECALL / STOP SALE: ALL Honda Pioneer 1000 models. Aug 2018
HondaSxS.com is working to verify this and will update once available.

Sure hope this isn’t another recall and that they are just making this known about the previous one. If it is a new one I think it’s time to hit Honda up to reimburse me for some gas ⛽️ to bring it in once again. Lol.

It's the same recall that's why people need to get it checked out.

Yes, luckily it was only me.
That’s good. Glad you escaped unharmed. Any signs or anything where it started or what led you to get off. Did you see flames or smell smoke? What year was it? Hopefully Honda and your insurance take care of you. Interested to see how this all plays out.

2016, I was on my way home from a ride and my butt started to get hotter than normal and then I smelled smoke, by the time I stopped and grabbed the fire extinguisher, it was too late.

Oh man! Go buy yourself a lottery ticket! Lucky you got off when you did. Like I said I hope Honda and your insurance company take care of you. Any of these machines can catch fire at anytime just hope everyone can make it out of them safely. The machine can always be replaced.

Guys, shouldn’t this have been addressed with the first service where the valves have to be set? I remember when I did my own I removed and reinstalled the same components which are suspecto_O

After revisiting my post, I realize I did not yet have my coffee, and that I am in fact wrong as the clamps are below the intake:oops:

I think you still are correct with your first post. Because doesn’t it say all 4 clamps need to be checked? 2 on top and 2 on bottom?
