I wish we had more trails down here in Louisiana. Kisatchie National Forest has some really nice 50" ATV trails that I ride a few times a year on the Rubicon. Sandstone trail is really well maintained and only open for part of the year. There are a few other Kisatchie trail systems that are open year round but they are also restricted to 50" machines. I think they had some tornado damage up there not too long ago so not sure what kind of shape anything is in. There is plenty of camping space and room for RV/campers. Can ride into the trails from wherever you're camped.

There are a few ATV/UTV parks here in south LA:
ZONA ATV Park
Nicest park I've been to with kids. Not the biggest place by any means and mostly just mud/water when it comes to trails. You can ride every trail here in about 2-3 hours. There's a large sand area with a sand drag setup, a few "dunes", figure 8's, and whoop dee doo's. Trail difficulty is solely based on how deep of a mudhole you're willing to attempt to drive through. Fun trails though for the most part with go arounds. Heated showers, clean bathrooms, onsite food and picnic area, swimming hole, camping sites with water/electric, some playground equipment, Tarzan boat. Great family owned and operated park. Definitely more of a "ride around and drink beer/listen to music" kind of place versus serious trail riding. They had no issue with me bringing along my tandem kayak to toss in the lake either.
This guy had just finished telling me how he bought the extended warranty for his Can-Am and they'd cover anything...
About to winch this one out. The old Badlands 3500 got a workout this day:
Winching my dad out after the Popo decided it would grenade it's front diff. Also, same guy that told me he didn't plan on getting dirty...
Tower Trax ATV Park
Only been here a few times, but it's a lot bigger place than Zona. It's also in a lot worse shape and EXTREMELY dusty if it hasn't rained. Mudholes that would swallow an Abrams. If mud riding is your thing this is where you want to be. I haven't been in the P1k, only on my Rubicon. I go to sight see and watch people destroy things
.
Just inspecting the bottom of it. Cross-rutted while trying to go around the mudhole and went airborne into it instead. I think the bike had about 12 miles on it at the time. Luckily the mud softened the blow
There are a few other parks in MS and north LA that I haven't been to so I can't really speak to them.
