On the BS note...I built/welded a new military style flag pole out of 1-1/4” pipe and put 4 heavy coats of rustolium aluminum on her. She sits at 30’ now.
replaces my old 20’ aluminum telescoping pole that got slightly bent during a storm and was actually 17’ tall in order to get her set in the ground right.

Well smellers! Thought it was time to blow the dust if this ole thread. Decided yesterday to start my long awaited chop top. Two good things about this is the shortening of the paddy wagon style top for a more sleek look and not so tight in my toyhauler lol. The other positive is all the wiring i had under that roof! Whoa!!! Kiss my dimpled aunt that was a mouse nest of the last 5-1/2 yrs. great time to clean that chit up. Special thanks to my good friend @joeymt33 with the plans and pointers he and @snuffnwhisky did to his.
Im far from done but thought id share some pics with yall and dietail the progress

Getting some new skins on my truck today, and hoping to get some pipe to start my welds.
Heres my other hobby i guess you'd say that ive been doing since i was about 12 yrs old. The white Peavey wolfgang i bought new in 98’ and is now considered a rare guitar and is worth almost triple what i pd for it. My latest prize the the army drab EVH 5150 series standard guitar. Plays wonderful and fast. Also in recent months upgraded my pedal board and one of my amps.

I'm about to do mine here in next two weeks. Was thinking 4" in front and 5" in back to level the roof line a bit. My only concern is having enough room on the SATV split windshield as I have to cut that down and doesn't seem to have much room past about 3.5" for the brackets. Do you have a windshield you're cutting down as well?

Back at it today. Got the rear pipes back that I had Laved down to a snug fit inside the rear cage. Got the cage on bolted and welded in place. Its definitely stronger than before.
