Sorry for the late build fellas. I must say with work, honey do's and owning a cabin that like another house, it take up a lot of your time! Now that bow hunting season is upon us, more time will be taken up in a good way
This all started when I wanted a SXS to go along with my 2 ATV's and my property/cabin in the great northern woods of northern lower Michigan. There we have some nice trails outside my cabin door. The other was for hunting and general work around the cabin and home. I owned a nice 02' jeep TJ that I fixed up and never really used it that much not to mention the insurance sucks on those! So I convicted my wife of 16 yrs if I sold it I could get a SXS. Now I've owned Polaris ATV's for sometime, and a 2000 Honda Forman that the wife drives. After selling the jeep, I went to looking for a SXS. I wanted a Polaris general, needless to say, nice seats but wasn't impressed. Then I got into a P100-5 and WOW!! I was hooked, and so begins this Journey.

My boys (dogs) and I had some good bonding time in the garage. Gunny was lying under the machine while I was running rock lights. He wouldn't lie still when I would roll out to take a pic of him so I got him sitting in front of the bench. 14138eee155cb88184337a120cc0525f

Thanks, he's a good boy! He likes to hang with his dad. His identical twin would rather be lazy and be inside with mom. My work is finally slowing down due to the nicer spring like weather so I've gotten back at green machine. I hated the pre cut wired made switch panel I previously bought and used, so I decided to buy a few sheets of ABS texted plastic and make my own set up. Also got my NOAM Bluetooth amp and speakers for my listing pleasure. All of this have Ben sitting on my bench for about a month and a half collecting dust while I sit on the couch at night exhausted from the 12-14hr days this busy winter running service calls. So far, I'm very pleased how this turned out. Now to start my tedious wiring job tomorrow that will send my OCD into overdrive! Lol3eeeed260482d33d7a597a1886414c9a

Back at it.
Here's my custom switch panel that I made out if textured abs plastic. Finally got it all wired up and FINNALY permanently in the dash for the time being. Special thanks to CP for his help with some of the wiring issues with this set up. Working on a few more add one today while I'm in the barn listing to the race. Hopefully I will have them posted as the day progress.

I decided to put on some 4 point harnesses. After doing some research on here and some of my own, I decided to go with the pro armor 2" they look really good and the belly latch is the type I'm use to. Good price as well.

It was relatively easy. The biggest Issue was the bolts, I could not use the stock bet bolts duets to the eyelets on the harness are smaller than the Honda . But Bever fear! A trip to the hardware store and some grade 8 bolts and washers worked perfectly. Now the back plate because there is no cross bar I had to mount a bolt to the back of the head rest like @JACKAL did in his build. I used another grade 8 bolt for this as well. The hike is already in the driver side and a 3/8 hole was drilled for the passenger side. Once adjusted it's all down hill from there! Figuratively. 2e3ce821e857a154f339c74e0e603c77
