Sorry for the late build fellas. I must say with work, honey do's and owning a cabin that like another house, it take up a lot of your time! Now that bow hunting season is upon us, more time will be taken up in a good way
This all started when I wanted a SXS to go along with my 2 ATV's and my property/cabin in the great northern woods of northern lower Michigan. There we have some nice trails outside my cabin door. The other was for hunting and general work around the cabin and home. I owned a nice 02' jeep TJ that I fixed up and never really used it that much not to mention the insurance sucks on those! So I convicted my wife of 16 yrs if I sold it I could get a SXS. Now I've owned Polaris ATV's for sometime, and a 2000 Honda Forman that the wife drives. After selling the jeep, I went to looking for a SXS. I wanted a Polaris general, needless to say, nice seats but wasn't impressed. Then I got into a P100-5 and WOW!! I was hooked, and so begins this Journey.

Added some Honda flares. I know there

not to popular with some on here, but I think they look good, and there are enough push pins to hold these baby's tight. If I scratch them or break them, big deal! Still looks good. They remind me of bushwhacker fender flares.

Next was some LED rock lights. That was fun running wires all over hells half acre! They turned out good I might add. That's as far as I'm going with this. If I put any more, I'll need some bouncing hydraulics for the front end and that ain't happening!

Not sure.? These are from the LE 1000. Might want to check the OEM parts section from Honda. That's how I found these

Some more HONDASXS.COM decals. I think they look BA on the ribs of the hood.

Added these stainless I blots with some large fender washers and some lock nuts, then painted flat black on the back side and for protection. Got tired of only having one in the middle for tie down.

Also got a battle wound from the Take over! Hahaha all good! Dam ruts!!! Gona use some HVAC ingenuity to fix this. Could have ben worse!

And my favorite decal on both drivers and passenger sides, the official Take over sticker! Man what a great time we had. Looking forward to next year already!

That's a good question. I think I have the box with a little left. I'll have to check. It deflects the heat well I'll say.

Ok, all it says is that it's an acoustical mat. It radiants heat up to 2,000 Degrees and direct temps of 300 degrees. So it doesn't say anything about an R value.

Just ordered some of that myself. Gonna put it on the middle plastic and anywhere else I think it'll do any good.then putting full blanket of heat insulation from seat bottom to seat back. And adding a 2nd blower.

Heck yeah! That's what I did. I put that stuff everywhere I could. Seems to help and didn't Seem to hurt neither. Just make sure your mating surface is good and clean before you apply it or it won't stick.
