Hello all,
Been awhile since I’ve dropped a thread around here. Thought this turned out pretty good and wanted to share. We ride with two mini aussies and two kids. 45 cooler, hiking packs, toys, fishing gear, gold pan, first aid kit, tools, parts, tire, etc.. needless to say room is tight. So I build this center seat for some extra room for the dogs. A cooler fits under it also. And it’s completely removable by lifting the bench seat.

My dog thanks you. She has been wishing I would do something like that so she doesn’t slip off the seat when I brake. She has room in the back, but has quickly figured out the ride is smoother up front.

Really simple idea.
Used 1/2” angle. Each arm is notched so one side rests on the under dash storage and the other rests on tubing under seat. When the seat is down and latched it’s solid! Doesn’t move or rattle. The feet on one arm is to level seat because that storage compartment is lower. Easy to install and easy to remove. I used 4” high foam on seat and black canvas.
