Forgive a SxS noob, my only experience with a side by side is my buddy's Ranger 1000. Comfy ride for sure.

My wonder though is how the P500 rides vs my '06 Foreman ES. I'm happy with my Foreman, love it. I think a P5 would be a perfect complement to it for my wife and I. She can solo in it or we can ride out together.

And from what I've read, I shouldn't be concerned about pulling rocky hills with both of us on board? 300 lbs plus whatever we strap to the back...

Mostly trail ride, in woods if possible! I like to ride slow and quiet and enjoy the ride...
The first thing I noticed from a foreman to a p500 was that on choppy ground I could go 35 mph on the quad vs 20 mph on the p500. The p500 is so much safer and comfortable in almost all conditions. I don’t miss the face full of bugs or getting soaked to the bone or frostbite on the quad.

I'd consider Wildcat on a weekday maybe. Do they have any narrow trails?
No. Everything fits anything. But there are some cool trails down by the tracks and to the southeast that are a little tighter.

So the consensus is that the P5 rides rougher than my straight axle '06 Foreman? I think I'm good with that. On the trails, the ride of my Foreman is great; no complaints. Across a rough field, maybe not so much. I don't really mind, I just slow down.

Did quite a bit of riding last weekend switching between my '18 P5 and my '06 Foreman.

Quad is more comfortable ride, nimbler, faster.
P5 is more relaxing with a seat back and in the sense that one (or two) hands can be free, wife is next to me, seems to climb the steep stuff better, somehow more fun all around. Love the shift paddles. VERY happy with my purchase!

P5 ~ seems to climb the steep stuff better,

Recently I whent on a ride where I came across a hill I was not willing to try on the ATV ('04 Rancher).
Might have done it when I was younger, or if with a group (some one to tell my wife where the body was).

Technically the quad should be better, limited slip front diff so you can drag the brake.
Lighter and more maneuverable.
But still, there is somthing about the cage that makes you feel more secure.

Perhaps the longer wheel base helps, as well. Felt more stable.
