I'm going to setup a spare tire for my P700.
I have a spare set of aluminum rims for my old Rincon. Stock size.
Can I use one of them as a spare?
Any thoughts on using a different brand tire as a spare? Same size- but we all know ATV tire sizes aren't precise.
Will a slightly different size put stress on the drivetrain? Especially with the locked rear?

Put one on and see if it fits.
The SxS doesn't know what brand the tire is.
Try to use one that has the same height.
You will be fine using a slightly different size to get you out of the woods. Don't use 4x4 locked until you are in the mud. In mud the different size tire will not matter. Turn off the 4x4 on solid ground.

I think the studs are bigger on the SxS's.

Yes.
But its tight. I would drill the holes out just a hair if you plan to keep them. Not much is needed. Mine fit but barely.
Its the lugnuts hole size that's the problem.
Bolt pattern is the same. 4/110
Also, may my need a set of splined lugnuts.
