The way the gears are cut on the Hondas are noisy but more durable. Some have had success with 75-w140 full synthetic oil in the differentials. Milage will quiet them some, mostly you get used to it.
full synthetic really cut down the diff whine on my Pioneer, I ended changing the subtrans and engine DCT to synthetic, happy with results.

I have a complete rear cage with belts off a 2016 P1000-5 will let go for a couple Hondos!! Im in Mississippi and it may not be worth the effort to get it to SC. [email protected]
The rear section of mine is surprisingly fine even though it is the weakest part of the whole cage. My Honda dealer is going to cut me a good deal on the front two sections after I get Christmas out the way. I really wish someone made a nice aftermarket low profile cage for them. But I haven’t found one and don’t really care to go chopping and welding on a the cage seeing as how my wife and kids ride a lot .

Spencer, you may want to look at having someone (yourself, a performance shopt that can bend) cut your tubes below the bend and weld in the straight pieces. Proper welding and and paint will make it look next to OEM. and you may be able to put heavier tube on if you want to play like that again. ;)

I don't know what all got bent up on your cage but doing a chop while sleeving the cage isn't all that difficult. I chopped/sleeved mine probably took a combined 12-14 hrs total. My wife and kids ride along 99% of the time and I feel way better knowing the cage is more then twice as strong after being chopped and sleeved. Little weekend work might save you a cpl thousand and it'll be chopped 😉

Picked up a new 2021 pioneer 1000-5 and the next day rolled it. Other than feeling like a complete idiot and losing absolutely all my pride……. Now I’m looking for a new roll cage because mine is bent all up. Does anyone know of a aftermarket one or has anyone gone with a aftermarket and are trying to sale there factory cage?
Texas tough customs has a really nice aftermarket cage, looks a lot more aggressive

Since this thread just got dug up again...

@Spencer357

Pop in and let us know what you did with your roll cage. Hope your shoulder came out well.
I just replaced it with a new oem cage. Now I have removed the rear bars and have a alien shade on the roof and I use it for a back window. I love it this way…… don’t look like a brick on wheels now. Shoulder healed pretty good man just have a lump on my shoulder to remind me to slow down lol. I have 4 point harnesses now
