Roof mounted led bar

Well I got the Tusk 40" light bar. installed it and three of the LEDs didn’t work. Wow thought it would have been a quality product. Now working with Rocky Mountain to get a new one.

Following as I’m curious too and will be adding some lights soon. Picked up my ‘22 1000R at the end of October last fall.

Mines mounted on roof with no issues, beat it off trees all the time, I put a 42in on and it lined up with roof bolts perfectly, easy mount no drilling, I buy my bars off eBay, usually Cree, they are inexpensive and if you break it cheap to replace, never had one quit yet and I’ve been running them for years on different machines

Your either lucky or your trees are as big around as small twigs! 🤣 Bring it up here and will see if it holds up to our trees in the cedar swamps lol.

We deer hunt in swamps of ga, I’ve beat it pretty good on my others, ride the outlaw trails of wv, takes some licks, if it breaks I’ll spend 50.00, throw another one up there😂, I can say I don’t intentionally try to tear it off

Bought this lightbar anmd mounts off Amazon. Had to modify the mounts. The curve fits the roof line perfectly.

What roof mounted led bar are you running? How about the Tusk 40" curved from Rocky Mountain Atv any good?

I have been running the 40” curved light bar on my ‘21 x4 since new without any problems! No issue with low overhanging limbs. I had tomake my own mounts.

Running the Tusk v2 40" LED curved light bar kit for the Talon. Came with machine specific roof mounts that reuse the roof bolts on top. I've only run it @ TO24, but it seems very sturdy.
